Chemical Process Engineer    

Location: Salt Lake City, UT  

Reports to: CEO

Compensation: $70K - $100K

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Chemical Process Engineer:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field required
  • Prefer 3+ years of experience as a chemist and/or chemical engineer in a laboratory setting
  • Bring a strong foundation of transitioning compounds from lab creation to commercial production
  • Proven ability to scale reactions and products to larger quantities for production
  • Strong knowledge of chemistry processes and engineering principles
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Experience building diagrams, flowcharts, and other documents and utilizing modeling/simulation software
  • Knowledge of federal regulations and a desire to support and maintain them in the work environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset to improve existing processes to reduce cost and increase reliability, purity, and safety
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving to find solutions for technical challenges
  • Developing synthetic plans, and designing and running test experiments for large-scale use
  • Experience working with flow chemistry setup
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineer position.
  • Familiarity with various continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma, 5S, Theory of Constraints, and Kaizen.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Inventor and Siemens NX.
  • Tool design and CNC programming experience a plus.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Develop and implement processes, machinery, and tooling to cost effectively manufacture quality parts.
  • Write, revise, and maintain CNC programs and manufacturing process instructions.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Blow Molding Technician 

Location: Salt Lake City, UT 

Reports to: Production Manager 

Compensation: $25 - $35+/Hour, DOE + shift differential 

Shift: Days, Swings, Graves available 

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Blow Molding Technician :  

  • 3+ years of experience in blow mold or tube operations, or similar experience
  • Experience with continuous extrusion blow molding equipment required – experience with Bekum blow molding machines is highly preferred, and Bekum H-155 is a huge plus!
  • Ensure that blow molding lines are operating efficiently and effectively
  • Inspect product for quality and consistency according to product specs
  • Perform machine changeovers including setups and processing of parts, materials, and colors
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem solve production and equipment/setup issues
  • Familiar with working in a fast paced production environment and ability to prioritize work
  • Mechanically inclined and able to use standard hand and power tools to perform repairs or installations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with other technicians and production team to accomplish goals
  • Ability to read and interpret work documents
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
