Warehouse Logistics Supervisor

Are there two finer actors alive than John Travolta and Nicholas Cage? I think not and I defy you to change my mind. Imagine my delight when, as a young girl, I was introduced to director John Woo’s masterpiece, FACE/OFF. The 1997 action film features FBI agent Travolta vs. global terrorist Cage trying to out-act each other as they literally act out one another after taking on each other’s physical appearance. Unsurprisingly, the two dreamboats offer up an over-the-top DOUBLE THREAT of melodrama and absurdity... We’re seeking a DOUBLE THREAT of a supervisor. Someone with experience and expertise in both PRODUCTION and WAREHOUSE management. Reach out to me, Kim Hitchcock, or someone from Spectrum today!
Requirements & Responsibilities of the Warehouse Logistics Supervisor:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, preferred.
- 5+ years’ professional warehouse / logistics experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse and production processes, including health and safety laws, regulations, and policies with solid, proven management and leadership skills.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication capabilities.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Coordinate activities among departments and collaborate with Leads, Supervisors, and Plant Management.
- Evaluate and analyze warehouse data for process improvement; Identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in processes, materials, equipment, or skills.
- Inspect finished goods regularly for quality and defects, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Help hire, train, schedule and oversee warehouse employees in coordination with Human Resources.
