Electrical Design Engineer, PE

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: President  

Compensation: $100K - $130K, plus profit sharing

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer:

• PE license.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical design, including familiarity with power distribution.
• Exposure to Revit, Bluebeam, and EDR (Electrical Designers’ Reference) software.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
• Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects, each delivered on schedule with high client satisfaction.
• Accurately and efficiently design electrical, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Calculate power loads for buildings, estimate energy consumption, and design power distribution systems.
• Read mechanical, architectural, and civil drawings to coordinate with structure and meet electrical needs.

Technical Sales Specialist Engineer  

Location: Summit County, UT

Compensation: $90K - $100K+, DOE

We’re seeking a DOUBLE THREAT of engineering & sales: TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST ENGINEER with TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS and SALES expertise! 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Specialist Engineer:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred, Business, Technical field, or equivalent as appropriate.
• 5+ years of successful related sales experience, preferably in the semi-conductor or fluid handling industry (selling mechanical products through a distribution channel preferred).
• Effective written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
• Collaborating with cross-divisional teams to translate business goals into technical solutions and advising on optimal strategies for achieving business outcomes.
• Effectively communicating with stakeholders, balancing technical depth and solutions sales perspectives.
• Articulating and documenting technical requirements to demonstrate business value within the sales region's large organizations.
• Providing input and feedback to engineering and development teams.
• Building strong client relationships, by understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that deliver value and solve their challenges.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver’s license

Mechanical Design Engineer 

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Engineering Manager   

Compensation: $80K - $100K 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer:  

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in processing, mining, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic product design skills. Experience with pumps and/or rotational machinery, preferred.
• Deep understanding of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) expertise.
• Familiarity of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Design for new product development and legacy product enhancement, leading prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
• Perform and document design calculations and risk assessments.
• Provide through-life technical support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally as well as externally with sub-contracted engineers and vendors.

Bilingual Welding Cell Supervisor 

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Plant Production Supervisor

Compensation: $25 - $30/Hour, Flexible

100% of all Welding Supervisors are happy at work.*  

*This statistic is based on incomplete data. I might have just made it up. But I personally don’t know any Welding Supervisors who aren’t happy. Also, according to a recent study (me looking at stock photos on the internet), it looks to be true, so long as you are Bilingual in English and Spanish. If you happen to be a Welding Supervisor pro who also speaks Spanish we’d like to hire you ASAP. If you’re happy at your current job, I guess the data holds up and I’m right! But if you’re not all smiles, all day, prove me wrong, and let's see if we can get you into that 100%!  

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Bilingual Welding Cell Supervisor:  

• Ensure a safe working environment for employees 
• Planning, scheduling, and staffing of the department 
• Train new employees and evaluate personnel to company expectations 
• Hold team members accountable for their tasks, and discipline when necessary 
• Train employees in the use of machinery, jigs, and fixtures, and ineffective assembly of the product 
• Monitor production schedule to meet shipping requirements 
• Develop processes and procedures for training and process improvement 
• Monitor finished product to meet quality standards 
• Coordinate material utilization to reduce scrap cost 
• Inspecting grooves, angles, or gap allowances using micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments 
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations 
• Capable of laying out, parts, positions, and assemblies according to specifications using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and rulers 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, required

Shift Supervisor  

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Director of Operations

Compensation: $70K - $90K, Overtime eligible

Shift: Monday – Friday, 4 PM – 12 AM 

There once was an important project that EVERYBODY was sure SOMEBODY would handle. ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did. SOMEBODY got upset because it was EVERYBODY'S job. Requirements & Responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor:

• 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial leadership roles.
• Familiarity with logistics, operations, production, maintenance, and ERP systems.
• Demonstrable ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Strong ability to manage autonomously and make smart decisions.
• Familiarity with Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
• Ability to understand and enforce Union Contracts.
