We recruiters are all out hunting “unicorns” these days. We’re forever seeking folks with unique and often disparate skillsets. In Chinese mythology, the Qilin was a brightly colored beast with a single horn, the body of a deer, the tail of an ox, and the hooves of a horse (way cooler than a basic unicorn). We're looking for a hybrid QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN. Help us find our Qilin…

Requirements & Responsibilities of the QA Tech:

  • Responsible for reviewing items received from vendors for compliance with specifications, and quality assurance technical support of operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Experience as an inspector and/or working knowledge of machining, welding, strongly preferred. ASQ or CIQ certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex engineering drawings and related technical documentation.

Mechanical Design Engineer

MIKE & THE MECHANICS’ classic 1988 ballad “In the Living Years” is a simple, sweet, and not-so-subtle story of regret and unresolved feelings between a man and his deceased father. It addresses generational gap issues we all face trying to relate to loved ones and society at large. The narrator concludes such unsettled conflicts will do nothing but haunt us in the end and should be tackled while we still have a chance. Regret is a burdensome thing and it’s almost always better to rue something you did than something you didn’t do. Like applying for that awesome MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER position you always wanted! As the song goes, “It’s too late when you die to land jobs for which you can’t apply…” or something like that.

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, including familiarity with HVAC systems.
  • Exposure to Revit and Bluebeam software platforms.

  • Design HVAC, heating, hydronic, plumbing, and natural gas systems.
  • Read mechanical, architectural, and civil drawings to coordinate with structure.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of codes and standards to ensure all designs comply with the necessary regulations.
