Senior Machinist 

Location: Ogden, UT

Reports to: Operations Manager  

Compensation: $30 - $40/Hour 

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift positions available 

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Senior Machinist:  

  • 10+ years of machinist experience – programming and setting up CNC mills and lathes
  • Experience working 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical and horizontal CNC milling and turning machines
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision inspection equipment
  • Ability to set up, operate and maintain machines
  • Skilled at creating CNC programs as needed
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Dedication to safety and quality
  • Thrive in working with a high variety of parts
  • Degree in CNC Machining Technology, machinist certification, or machinist apprenticeship completion preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with FeatureCAM programming preferred
  • Candidates for this role must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:  

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, or relevant field.
  • 5+ years’ professional experience in a quality management role within a highly regulated industry (aerospace, advanced materials / composites manufacturing, preferred). 
  • Deep understanding of quality systems, AS9100 / ISO 9001 requirements. 
  • Experience facilitating and conducting internal and external quality and regulatory audits. 
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement principles and methodologies, including kaizen leadership and change management.  
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication capabilities. 
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. 
  • Direct and oversee the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) at our new advanced materials / composites manufacturing facilities; drive the site’s QMS management review processes. 
  • Develop, establish, and implement company’s quality procedures, work instructions, standards and specifications. 
  • Work to ensure products and services provided are “fit for purpose” and meet internal and external requirements and customer expectations; review customer requirements to be sure they are met.

Maintenance Technician

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Compensation: $30 - $40/Hour 

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Maintnenace Technician:  

  • Diagnose trouble, plan, and perform all operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, and dismantle various types of complex manufacturing and support equipment—with a special focus on advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on complex high-speed packaging lines.
  • Perform and train production on preventive maintenance and other proactive activities to monitor and maintain equipment condition.
  • Coordinate with other technicians, production personnel, engineering, management, and other stakeholders to communicate and plan maintenance activities. 
  • Identify opportunities for maintenance or process improvement and drive recommendations to implementation or resolution.  
  • Complete or assist with special projects as directed. 
  • Perform other duties as directed by management. 
  • Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering and or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 Years’ experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical/controls/PLC systems and proficient understanding of Allen-Bradley industrial networks, including but not limited to Device net).
  • Experience with variable speed and servo drive programming and function (prefer Allen-Bradley).
  • Possess a good understanding of computer and industrial networks.
  • Ability to read, understands, and follow complex instructions, prints, and schematics.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
