Sales Support Engineer

Location: West Valley City, UT

Reports to: VP of Sales 

Compensation: $75K-$85K+ plus bonus (not a commissioned based role)  

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Sales Support Engineer (sales support role):  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related field, highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales support, sales engineering, and quoting.
  • Work with new and existing customers on new packaging designs (required)
  • Thorough understanding of the principles of cost in a manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional customer relations and project management skills.
  • AutoCAD & SOLIDWORKS experience preferred.
  • Strong background with ERP (IQMS is a plus) and quoting systems.
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail, organization, exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
  • Background in thermoforming and form-fill-seal packaging.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Work with new and existing customers on new packaging designs.
  • “Team First” mentality
  • Occasional travel to industry events and trade shows to answer questions about client capabilities.

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Specialist Engineer:

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Warehouse Logistics Supervisor:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, preferred.
  • 5+ years’ professional warehouse / logistics experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse and production processes, including health and safety laws, regulations, and policies with solid, proven management and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication capabilities.

  • 5+ years of machinist experience – programming and setting up CNC mills and lathes
  • Experience working 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical and horizontal CNC milling and turning machines
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision inspection equipment
