Reports to: Manufacturing Manager
Compensation: $75K - $95K, plus bonus

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager:
- Bachelor of Science in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or related field, preferred.
- 3+ years of professional procurement experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting.
- Deep understanding of and experience with ERP systems, inventory management, negotiations, and supplier management.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
- Honest, proactive, supportive, and autonomous.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Opportunity to make an impact and evolve into a leadership role.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify needs and requirements for equipment, materials, and products.
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Assess market conditions and prepare and present reports to predict future availability and costs.
- Manage supplier relations, negotiate terms, and source and qualify new vendors.
- Maintain inventory control system and coordinate the disposal of surplus materials.
