Requirements & Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, or relevant field.
- 5+ years’ professional experience in a quality management role within a highly regulated industry (aerospace, advanced materials / composites manufacturing, preferred).
- Deep understanding of quality systems, AS9100 / ISO 9001 requirements.
- Experience facilitating and conducting internal and external quality and regulatory audits.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement principles and methodologies, including kaizen leadership and change management.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication capabilities.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Direct and oversee the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) at our new advanced materials / composites manufacturing facilities; drive the site’s QMS management review processes.
- Develop, establish, and implement company’s quality procedures, work instructions, standards and specifications.
- Work to ensure products and services provided are “fit for purpose” and meet internal and external requirements and customer expectations; review customer requirements to be sure they are met.
