Construction Estimator

Location: Lindon, UT 

Reports to: President

Compensation: $75 - $90K 

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Construction Estimator:  

  • 10+ years of construction experience, 5+ years of estimating and take-off experience
  • Exceptional knowledge of estimating and takeoff techniques
  • Proven ability to provide accurate, cost-effective bids quickly with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficient user of Planswift or other estimating software platforms
  • Experience doing full plan takeoffs for exteriors, drywall, facades, or masonry
  • Ability to travel to job sites or client sites as needed
  • Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work, prepare quality takeoffs, and generate proposal packages for client company
  • Experience bidding large scale projects up to $10M
  • Identify opportunities to increase and improve revenue on bid projects
  • Effective and professional communication with internal team and clients
  • Consistent drive for quality, integrity, and safety in all work
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Senior Mechanical Engineer  

Location: Salt Lake City, UT 

Hybrid work structure with flexible schedule 

Reports to: Director of Mechanical Engineer 

Compensation: $125 - $145K 

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Sr. Mechanical Engineer:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field of study
  • Utah PE license strongly preferred, or PE eligible
  • 10+ YOE relevant work experience in mechanical engineering within the mining and metals industry, mechanical design engineering, industrial engineering, plant engineering, with a focus in complex projects. High temperature plant and equipment design experience preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills working with colleagues, peers, customers, and vendors
  • Exemplify safety and integrity by setting examples of both in the workplace
  • Expertise in equipment design and selection including material handling equipment
  • Strong design abilities with experience in AutoCAD, Plant3D, Solidworks, or other CAD and modeling software's
  • Familiarity with API, ANSI, ASME, AND CEMA standards and codes
  • Solutions-oriented problem-solving approach
  • Experience in design and optimizing equipment, working with multi-disciplinary teams, and providing accurate design information flow
  • Passionate about technology, efficient design, and consumer approval

Compensation: $30 - $40/Hour 

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift positions available 

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Senior Machinist:  

  • 10+ years of machinist experience – programming and setting up CNC mills and lathes
  • Experience working 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical and horizontal CNC milling and turning machines
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision inspection equipment
  • Ability to set up, operate and maintain machines
  • Skilled at creating CNC programs as needed
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Dedication to safety and quality
  • Thrive in working with a high variety of parts

  • 2+ years of facility maintenance experience and/or training.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Knowledge and experience with 480V electrical panels, HVAC maintenance, and various mechanical related repairs.
  • Strong troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
