Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Ogden, UT

Reports to: Site Manager

Compensation: $30 - $38/Hour

Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (3 days one week, 4 days the next; 7 AM – 7 PM OR 7 PM – 7 AM)

It’s common knowledge that within 25 years, 95% of all current, human jobs will be done by machines. Automation and artificial intelligence will continue to advance until the technological singularity occurs (circa 2065), at which point mankind will fall almost entirely under robotic control. Even now, in 2024 it is estimated that 40% of all world leaders and as many as 500 of the world’s 2000 billionaires are automatons. Elon Musk is widely regarded as the best example of ‘living’ proof of this theory. A Google search of ‘Elon Musk dancing’ and one minute on YouTube will convince even the most hardened skeptic. 100% of the above statistics are unfounded but this much is true: If you want to stay in charge as automation and robotics expand toward ubiquity, the best way to do it will be to control the machines. The best way to do that is as a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC and we’re hiring several now!

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on mechanical experience with Tetra Pak production lines.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and other electromechanical components.

We treat every client as part of our extended family, embodying our commitment to excellence in every bottle. Powered by our dedicated team, vibrant culture, and cutting-edge technology, we strive to surpass customer expectations through innovation, ongoing enhancement, and empowering our team members.

In 1962, The Beatles recorded their version of the song “Money (That’s What I Want)” featuring the line, “Money don't get everything, it's true, but what it don't get I can't use.” Less than six months later they released their hit, “Can’t Buy Me Love” which included the refrain, “I don’t care too much for money, money can’t buy me love”. They were young and perhaps a bit confused. The point is, the Beatles may have made some questionable decisions early on, but they stuck with it and became wildly influential and insanely successful. The other point is, we’re hiring a SENIOR BUYER. Make a good decision now, become a SENIOR BUYER, stick with it and who knows where it may lead.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field.
  • APICS and/or ISM certification, highly preferred.
  • 6+ years of purchasing experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP.

  • Positive, engaged, and dedicated team player.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate both internally and externally.
  • Must be a U.S. person and able to pass a background check.
  • Manage material aspect for assigned programs and the daily interface and administration of subcontracts to ensure quality and reliability of products at the lowest cost.
  • Collaborate cross functionally and engage with suppliers to source composite, metallic, resin and adhesive materials and components.
  • Generate and issue proposals and purchase orders.
  • Negotiate prices, recommend suppliers, verify delivery, and approve payment.
  • Maintain records and statistical data to analyze product feasibility, supplier performance, and price trends.
