Junior FPGA Engineer

Location: Clearfield, UT 

Type: On-site 

Compensation: $80K – $95K

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Your Role: 

The Junior FPGA Engineer will work with our brilliant engineering team to advance networking, cryptography, and cybersecurity technologies! Responsibilities include developing FPGA designs, mapping algorithms into FPGA logic, and verifying designs through simulation and lab testing. The role emphasizes teamwork and rapid skill development.

What You’ll Do: 

·     Develop skills and experience quickly within a collaborative team environment

·     Contribute to the creation of new product ideas and architectural designs

·     Implement FPGA designs based on detailed requirements and specifications

·     Map algorithms effectively into FPGA logic resources

·     Foster teamwork and promote a collaborative work culture

·     Verify and test FPGA designs through simulations and in lab environments

What You’ll Bring: 

·     Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field

·     Proficient in SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL

·     Quick learner with strong simulation and debugging skills

·     Comfortable with Bash/Python scripting 

·     Experience with Altera Quartus Prime a plus

·     Knowledge of IP/TCP/UDP protocols a plus

·     Familiarity with network storage and cryptographic algorithms

·     U.S. citizenship required

·     Active U.S. DoD Security Clearance is a plus!
