Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Director of Engineering and Construction

Compensation: $25-$30/hour DOE

Your role:

As a proactive Millwright professional you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems at a biorefinery. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct emergency repairs. Your role is crucial in maintaining efficient and safe operations of production and processing equipment.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and related components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on equipment.
  • Operate hoists, cranes, and other heavy equipment to safely transport goods and machinery.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on equipment for performance and safety regulations.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in millwright work, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, industrial food production, or petrochemical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, industrial machinery, basic electrical/electronics, metal fabrication and welding, pipework, and rigging.
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must meet US person status for ITAR compliance
