CONTRACTS MANAGER

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Director of Contracts

Compensation: $100 – $130K + bonus

Your Role:

You are a dynamic and strategic Contracts Manager playing a crucial role in the aerospace industry. In this high-impact position, you own the full contract lifecycle in both government and commercial sectors. You are the go-to expert ensuring compliance with industry regulations, mitigating risks, and forging strong partnerships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

·      Draft proposals and quotes to meet critieria from customers

·      Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with government and commercial customers

·      Identify and mitigate contractural risks while maximizing business opportunities

·      Understand customer demand and participate in forecast management

·      Performn Accounts Receivable tracking and coordination

·      Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align contract terms with business needs and deliverables

·      Monitor contract performance and modifications

·      Communicate frequently with customers on proposals, purchase orders, and other contractual matters

What You’ll Bring:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related business field of study

·      5+ years’ contract management experience in aerospace or defense industry

·      Outstanding knowledge of government contracting regulations and industry best practices including FAR, DFAR, ITAR, etc.

·      Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

·      Strong working experience with ERP systems, Excel, and technical documents – SAP experience preferred
