COMPOSITES TECHNICIAN
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Reports to: Manufacturing Manager
Compensation: $22 – $28/hr
Shifts: All shifts available + shift differential

Your Role:
As a Composites Technician on our team, you will be responsible for the fabrication, bonding, and processing composite materials for advanced aircraft. You’ll contribute to the creation of critical components that meet rigorous aerospace standards, all while being part of a collaborative team that values safety, quality, and work-life balance.
What You’ll Do:
· Perform lay-up, braiding, and filament winding of composite materials
· Bonding various dissimilar materials into assemblies and finishes products
· Cut parts and materials to size based on layouts or blueprints
· Apply bonding agents and operating equipment such as autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens
· Montir and adjust heat, pressure, and timing controls to meet process requirements
· Finsih components by sanding, burring, smoothing, and sealing exposed edges
· Perform basic quality checks and repairs on composite products
What You’ll Bring:
· 2-3 years of experience in composite material lay-up and processing
· Aerospace experience highly desired
· Solid understanding of building composites including ply orientation, major defect types, and bagging process
· Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions and use measuring equipment
· A strong focus for quality, teamwork, and safety
