6th Annual Utah Backpack Project

We’re celebrating our sixth year supporting Utah families and children! Spectrum Recruiting Solutions is proud to host this annual backpack drive, teaming up with partners and friends to fill 425 backpacks with essentials—and a few fun surprises—for kids and families in need. Let’s make year six the biggest and most impactful yet!

Donations will be collected through October, then assembled and delivered in November. Assembled backpacks will be distributed through our trusted community partners Granger Christian Community Food Pantry & South Valley Women’s Shelter.

 

How You Can Help:

• Spread the word to your community and colleagues
• Donate items (Check out our Amazon Wish List)
• Monetary donations via check or Venmo (@tina-hazlett)
• Introduce us to companies interested in donating supplies
• Watch for posts with our Spectrum logo on LinkedIn and social platforms!

 

Items Needed Most:

• Backpacks (425 needed)
• Cold Weather Gear: socks, beanies, gloves, blankets, etc.
• Hygiene: deodorant, soap, toothpaste, shampoo, sanitizer, hairbrushes
• School Supplies: notebooks, crayons, pencils, glue sticks, books
• Bonus ideas: toys, games, water bottles, stickers, cards, chapstick, play dough, matchbox cars
