ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

Location: Sandy, UT

Reports to: Production / Operations Manager

Compensation: $65,000-$73,500

Your Role

As an Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in the assembly and preparation of advanced simulator systems. You will work hands-on with mechanical assemblies, wiring, electronics, and simulator components while ensuring quality standards and assembly tolerances are met. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical, detail-oriented work in a manufacturing and technology-driven environment.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Read and interpret work instructions, technical drawings, 2D sketches, and assembly documentation.

• Assemble simulator systems, including visual systems, operator stations, control units, and related subsystems.

• Perform mechanical assembly, cabling, wiring, and electronic integration tasks.

• Ensure finished products meet assembly tolerances and quality standards.

• Prepare simulator systems for packaging and shipment.

• Maintain organized inventory and ensure appropriate parts levels are available.

• Support workspace organization, cleanliness, and maintenance activities.

• Assist with additional assembly and maintenance tasks as assigned by leadership.

 

What You’ll Bring:

• Technical diploma in electromechanics, electronics, mechanics, or a related field preferred.

• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, wiring, and electronics.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

• PCB soldering experience is a plus.

• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to safely lift and handle equipment up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
