SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid)
Reports to: Principal Engineer
Compensation: $150,000 – $220,000

Your Role:
You’ll take a senior leadership role in growing the firm’s Salt Lake City office — leading the team through design and construction, driving business development, and shaping office strategy in close partnership with the firm’s Principals, while staying hands-on with institutional building mechanical system design.
What You’ll Do:
· Lead business development, including client relationship management, proposal preparation, and pursuit strategy
· Contribute to internal leadership, office growth, staffing, and strategic planning alongside firm Principals
· Provide overall project oversight, including scope, schedule, and budget management
· Interface directly with clients and end users to understand and document expectations
· Complete project designs and drawings in Revit/CAD, calculations, specifications, equipment selection, site observations, and construction administration
What You’ll Bring:
· 4-year engineering degree from an accredited institution;
· PE license or actively working toward one
· Strong expertise in institutional building mechanical systems and applicable national codes, standards, and regulations; Revit proficiency a plus
· Experience managing other in a consulting engineering setting
· Excellent leadership, client management, and business development skills with strong written and verbal communication
· A team-player mindset with the desire and skill to grow the firm
