Company Overview

We are a forward-looking manufacturing organization specializing in high-performance molded rubber products and custom industrial components. With deep expertise in rubber processing, testing, and quality-driven manufacturing, we serve regulated and infrastructure-focused industries that demand reliability, consistency, and compliance.

Your Role:

As the Production Manager, you will own the manufacturing shop floor, leading Supervisors, Process Technicians, Leadpersons, and production teammates across all shifts. You’ll drive Continuous Improvement, ensure a safe, ISO-compliant work environment, and partner with HR and the Union on workforce matters.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the manufacturing shop floor, leading Supervisors, Process Technicians, Leadpersons, and all production personnel in safety, ISO adherence, coaching, and production reporting across all shifts.

• Monitor production and scrap rates and implement corrective actions when targets are missed.

• Post KPIs daily on visual boards (Safety, Production, Scrap, etc.) and monitor manning levels and staffing needs.

• Partner with HR and the Union on teammate disagreements/grievances, and work daily with Quality on ISO/Quality audits, communicating findings.

• Develop and oversee employee training and written work instructions, and create, confirm, and challenge manufacturing standards through time studies; cover Supervisor absences and other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role; degree required, though equivalent experience may be considered.

• Strong understanding of plant floor operations and a proven ability to lead, train, and coach teams toward continuous improvement.

• Experience with EnterpriseOne ERP, rubber processing or manufacturing, and a union environment is a plus.

• Ability to create and execute operational plans and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, driving success through KPIs such as Safety, Efficiency, Quality, and On-Time Shipments; strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate others as a self-starter and team player.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, along with superior written and verbal communication skills.
