Your Role:
As the Procurement Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement and project teams by coordinating materials, documentation, and project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with details, and wants to build a career within procurement, construction, or manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and track engineering drawings, project documentation, and procurement deliverables.
- Create material takeoffs, material breakdowns, and supporting documentation for purchasing activities.
- Monitor project schedules and procurement timelines to help ensure customer expectations and project milestones are met.
- Collaborate with purchasing, fabrication, and project teams to track material status and shipment schedules.
- Maintain organized records of material certifications, packing lists, mill test reports, and related documentation.
- Communicate project updates and procurement status across multiple departments.
- Utilize various business systems and software platforms to track information and manage workflows.
- Support ongoing process improvements that enhance efficiency, organization, and project execution.
What You’ll Bring:
- Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing, production, construction, or related environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Interest in learning construction industry processes, terminology, and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Self-motivated mindset with the confidence to work independently when needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and desire to contribute to overall project success.
