One cool thing about being an engineer or manufacturing professional is that you get to couple creativity with science to solve problems and generate new, tangible things. Whether they be tiny electronic components or entire cityscapes, there’s no doubt that they are there, they are real and engineers and manufacturers are to thank (or blame) for them. Too many people go through life overworked and underpaid; overused and underappreciated; over it and unsatisfied and, at the end of the day, they still have nothing to show for their hard work. At least nothing they directly affected or are in any way proud of. That’s no life.
