Operations Manager  

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: VP of Operations 

Compensation: $130K - $150K+

After countless OPERATIONS, he's still got a pencil stuck in his forearm and a rubber band connecting his knee bone to his ankle bone. Rather than letting a bunch of stupid kids poke and prod him all these years, the Hasbro corporation should have sought professional help… We’re seeking professional help for a different kind of operation. An Operations Manager with experience in food and beverage manufacturing. Are you ready to get in the game?  

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of operations management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional leadership/coaching skills with a proven track record of proactively managing supervisors and large production teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, reliability, professional demeanor, and business acumen to successfully identify, implement, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.  
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. 
  • Manage all daily activities, including reviewing orders/schedules and planning production operations/sequencing to ensure quality, safety, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate across shifts and departments to achieve long-term department and company objectives.
  • Resolve operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare department activity reports for management.

Machinist Supervisor - 2nd Shift 

Location: Ogden, UT

Reports to: Operations Manager  

Compensation: $30 - $40/Hour 

Shift: Mon – Thurs; 3:00 pm – 1:00 am 

 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Machinist Supervisor:  

  • 10+ years of machinist experience – programming and setting up CNC mills and lathes
  • Experience working 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical and horizontal CNC milling and turning machines
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision inspection equipment
  • Ability to set up, operate and maintain machines
  • Skilled at creating CNC programs as needed
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Dedication to safety and quality
  • Understand production schedule needs and lead team to accomplishment
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge is a plus
  • Thrive in working with a high variety of parts
  • Degree in CNC Machining Technology, machinist cerfication, or machinist apprenticeship completion preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with FeatureCAM programming preferred
  • Candidates for this role must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Operations Supervisor

Compensation: $90K - $120K 

Schedule: 6 PM – 6 AM (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) 

 

There once was an important project that EVERYBODY was sure SOMEBODY would handle. ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did. SOMEBODY got upset because it was EVERYBODY'S job. EVERYBODY knew ANYBODY could do it, but NOBODY realized EVERYBODY wouldn't do it. In the end, EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY because NOBODY did what ANYBODY could have... We need SOMEONE... a competent, confident, firm but fair SHIFT SUPERVISOR to make sure this never happens around here. 

Requirements & Responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor:  

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • Exposure to batching/filling and packaging in food/beverage, pharmaceutical, or similar industry.
  • Experience managing teams of 15+; demonstrable ability to lead and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other production management, quality and warehouse teams.
  • Directly manage 15-20 employees, providing proactive and reliable supervision and overseeing the daily activities of the department in conjunction with other shift supervisors.
  • Ensure efficient operation of processing equipment to achieve both quality and conformity of finished products.
  • Review production orders to establish priorities, plan operational schedules, and coordinate manufacturing activities.
  • Inspect equipment for optimal utilization and safety.
  • Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance.
