January Job List + Upcoming Events
This often-overlooked Salt Lake area summit is called Farnsworth Peak. Rising above 9000’ and located near the north end of the Oquirrh Range, it’s named after Utah native, inventor, and television technology pioneer, Philo T. Farnsworth. Born in a log cabin near Beaver, Utah in 1906, Farnsworth would go on to obtain around 300 patents and create the first-ever, fully-electronic television. Fittingly, the towers atop Farnsworth peak still transmit TV and radio waves between the Salt Lake and Tooele Valleys.
In the early days, the towers were used to communicate important news and current events. Nowadays, Spectrum has a bunch of exciting events coming up!
Job seekers, hiring managers and otherwise curious individuals can find more details on several recruiting, engineering, and manufacturing-adjacent happenings HERE.
We’re always looking for pioneering Utahns like ol' Philo Farnsworth to fill roles in technology, science, engineering, and manufacturing!
